Biography & Background

I was born and raised in Idaho; graduated from Vallivue High School and the University of Idaho. My husband and I have been married for 33 years and have adopted three children. We now have three grandchildren. I homeschooled our children K-12, except for one year when our youngest attended public school. It was at that time that I joined my local school board. I have also served as a precinct committeeman in Washington state, and as a musician, I served on the board of the Oregon Symphonic Band. I’m currently a member of the Canyon County Symphony. After living in several different states for my husband’s work, we have returned to Idaho to be near family and to fight for conservative values here.

Top 3 Issues:

1. The most important issue facing Idahoans today is the loss of freedom. This loss has been so gradual, many people don’t seem to notice it. We went from “fifteen days to stop the spread” to “take the jab to keep your job.” This is unacceptable. We must elect many freedom fighters to the legislature this year in order to guarantee Idahoans’ freedom when the next crisis occurs. Lockdowns and mandates have no place in Idaho.
2. Taxes are too high in Idaho. The current legislature has been trying to shift taxes around, for example with a plan to cut property tax and increase sales tax. We need to cut government programs and eliminate wasteful spending in this state, then we can reduce taxes, rather than just shifting them around.
3. Education. Parents need to be active participants in their children’s education. Families need more viable choices in education because the public school system of one size fits all doesn’t work for everyone.
