Top 3 Issues:
1. With Idaho’s growth, we need to make sure infrastructure is maintained and is sufficient for our citizens and businesses. Roads, bridges, internet connectivity, water, etc.
2. Continue improving our education system, ensuring our graduates are well prepared for the future they desire, whether it is going to college, military, entering the workforce, or getting some additional professional technical training.
We need to get a higher percentage of students reading at grade level, being proficient in math, getting a solid foundation in history, and understanding and appreciating the sciences. We also need to continue improving our career technical education opportunities.
3. Maintain a balanced system of taxes, and make sure government does not grow faster than the economy. Rather than add more jobs in government, we need to continue solidifying infrastructure, paying down debt, etc.
Integrity in Affiliation
“I have read the Idaho Constitution and the Idaho Republican Party Platform. Except for the provisions specifically noted below, I support the Idaho Republican Party Platform and accept it as the standard by which my performance as a candidate and as an officeholder should be evaluated. I certify that I am not a candidate, officer, delegate or position holder in any party other than the Republican Party.”
Not a fan of tax credits to attend private schools.
Also, I will read each bill, and determine if they follow the desires of my constituents in District 9.
