Biography & Background

I am John Stokes. I am a husband and Father to 8. I have lived in the Magic Valley for most of my life. I am in the grocery business and own Stokes Market here in Burley. I am also a partner in the Agri-business Pickett Equipment and Double L. I am a conservative and feel called to spend my energy in the service of my friends, neighbors and family.

1. Protect Individual Liberty As your Representative I will protect us from government overreach. I will protect your right to say no.
2. Defend our Sovereignty I will defend our Constitutional boundaries and work to maintain local decision making.
3. Preserve Water Rights I will preserve the Magic in Magic Valley by working to preserve the water that maintains our way of life.
