Top 3 Issues:

1. Taxation. Idaho rolled over 800mil in tax dollars last year. This is mind blowing. People are being taxed out of property they have owned for years. The legislature failed multiple times to ease this burden. The 2023 legislature will be very different than past years. We finally have an opportunity to pass significant property tax cuts. A shift to higher sales tax while enduring inflation we have not seen in 40yrs was not an answer this year. You should not have to sell your property because government rent’s (taxes) continue going up.
2. Growth has to be managed between private property rights and sustainably. You don’t want the government telling you how to manage your property. Then you also don’t want the community to be saddled with the growing property tax, bonds and levies for our schools. It has to pay for itself. (sustainability) It’s time to collect reasonable impact fees for schools.
3. Water resources, Mandates, Notice of public hearings and Desensitization of our youth to sexual behavior. We have many issues facing us in Idaho. I’m free to discuss all of these by phone if you like. 208-615-5839
