Over the past weekend, Republican candidates, including Brad Little for Governor and Janice McGeachin for Lieutenant Governor, were in Pocatello for Idaho State University’s Homecoming festivities. They marched in a parade and watched a football game:
By contrast, Democrat candidates including Paulette Jordan for Governor and Kristin Collum for Lt. Gov. were at a small event in Stanley sponsored by a radical left-wing group called “Rise Up, Idaho,” which — as we’ve noted before — promotes open borders, gun bans, socialized medicine, government control of the economy, socialism over capitalism, reparations, “mass liberation” of prison inmates, and other extreme views:
Jordan, Collum and many other Democratic candidates have welcomed the endorsement of Rise Up, Idaho — which also goes by the names “United Vision for Idaho” & “United Action for Idaho” — which they received based on their agreement with the group’s far-left platform. It’s important to note that Rise Up’s parent organization is part of the national Democracy Alliance consortium of leftist groups supported by billionaires and multimillionaires such as George Soros and Tom Steyer.
Collum, who tries to paint herself as a “moderate,” is apparently so fond of Rise Up she decided to attend a second event with them over the weekend, at a sparsely attended “progressive festival” in Meridian:
The far-left agenda Paulette Jordan, Kristin Collum and other Democrats embrace would be considered extreme anywhere outside of San Francisco, Seattle, and other hotbeds of leftist government. Here in Idaho, it’s way outside the mainstream. In fact, it’s openly hostile to the values of most Idaho voters.
When you cast your vote in the Nov. 6 election, remember that while Republicans want to govern our state based on Idaho values, Democrats want to bring in the same failed left-wing ideology that has been so disastrous in California and other liberal states.
Vote Republican, and Keep Idaho Great!
