Idaho has one of the highest gun-ownership rates in the nation, and most Idahoans strongly support the Second Amendment. But even here, the national push to ban vast categories of firearms has emerged.
This photo is from a gun-control march held in Boise in March 2018. After the terrible school shooting in Florida — despite overwhelming evidence that local authorities were severely negligent in failing to stop the clear threat posed by the killer — law-abiding gun owners and gun-rights organizations found themselves under attack by gun-ban advocates.
Which is why it’s so important for us to continue to stand up for our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Retired Lt. Col. Oliver North, the incoming President of the National Rifle Association, is coming to Pocatello on Friday, June 29, to speak at our state convention Gala Dinner. Lt. Col. North will speak in Holt Arena on the Idaho State University campus.
To see Lt. Col. North, you can either buy Dinner tickets at $50 each, or General Admission tickets (dinner not included) at $25 each for adults and $15 each for age 18 & under.
You can also purchase tickets at $50 each to have your photo taken with Lt. Col. North after the dinner.
We look forward to hearing from Lt. Col. North on the crucial link between our Second Amendment rights and our freedom as Americans. We hope to see you there!
