Letter from Chairman Jonathan Parker: United for Victory in 2018

May 16, 2018

Dear Fellow Idaho Republican,

It’s a great day to be a Republican in Idaho!

Last night’s strong turnout demonstrates the energy and enthusiasm that exists within our great party as we head towards the general election in November.

I personally want to thank and recognize each of our Republican candidates who put their names forward to serve and gave so much of themselves throughout this hard-fought campaign season. It truly takes grit and guts to run for public office and I salute you in your endeavor.

Congratulations to our nominees: Brad Little for Governor, Russ Fulcher and Mike Simpson for Congress, Janice McGeachin for Lt. Governor, Lawrence Wasden for Attorney General, Lawerence Denney for Secretary of State, Brandon Woolf for Controller, Julie Ellsworth for Treasurer and Sherri Ybarra for Superintendent of Public Instruction. We are proud of you and have no doubt you will well represent our party now and into the future.

With the primary election behind us, I ask you join me in supporting the Idaho Republican Party and uniting behind our outstanding Republican nominees by attending our Unity Rally on the Capitol steps at 10 AM tomorrow.

2018 is the biggest election in a generation. The decisions made today will impact us for decades to come and therefore we must not leave anything to chance. Never before have the visions between parties been so stark. We know conservative Republican policies in action work and have propelled Idaho as the envy of the nation.

Although I am confident of our ultimate success in November, we must not be complacent, and we cannot rest on our laurels, because continued Republican dominance in Idaho is not guaranteed. Victory in November will once again only be achieved through your loyal and faithful support. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for the Idaho Republican Party. Onward to victory!

Sincerely,

Jonathan Parker, Chairman
Idaho Republican Party
