Chairman Parker Announces New Executive Director

Boise – Chairman Jonathan Parker announced today that Frank Terraferma has been hired to serve as the new Executive Director of the Idaho Republican Party. Frank Terraferma is a longtime Florida Republican Party employee and consultant based in Tallahassee, FL.

“Our State Executive Committee and I interviewed many outstanding candidates to serve as the party’s Executive Director,” said Chairman Parker. “Frank has a wealth of experience, a winning track record, and is very enthusiastic to join our Idaho Republican team.  I’m excited to welcome him on board.”

Frank Terraferma got his start in Republican politics with the Republican Party of Florida’s House Campaigns Division working to achieve a Republican House majority for the first time in over 100 years.  During Terraferma‘s tenure as Division Director, the State House majority grew from a narrow two seat lead (61-59) to a 50 seat (85-35) super-majority in less than a decade.

Terraferma also served as Staff Director of the Florida House Majority Office and has headed his own political consulting firm during his career.

Chairman Parker continued, “Frank knows all aspects of Republican campaigns, inside and out.  We are excited to hire someone of his caliber who can help us continue to win elections throughout our great state. We’re not taking anything for granted in 2018.”

Terraferma graduated with a BA and MS in Political Science from Florida State University.  He will begin as Executive Director November 13, 2017.
